How to apply 

Applications for studentships beginning in 2024 are now closed. Applicants will be notified of outcomes by the beginning of May.

Applications for studentships beginning in 2025 will advertised in October 2024.

1. Read the detailed guidance for applicants which contains instructions about the application form and process.

2. Apply for a place to study at a CHASE member institution. Institutional web pages have information for applicants on contacting a prospective supervisor for your project. Use the logo links below to go to institutional application pages.

3. If your institution approves your application for funding, you will be provided with an access code for the studentship application.

4. Sample research proposals from previous years are available for viewing (link to the right).

5. Complete and submit the studentship application form by Friday 26 January at 12 noon.
