Canterbury Cathedral

Canterbury Cathedral welcomes enquiries from CHASE funded students; staff will be happy to discuss any specific interests students may have. Placements could be within the Archives and Library Department, but it may be possible to arrange a placement within another department. Within the Archives and Library, students could potentially work on listing and cataloguing projects, digitisation projects and commemoration projects. The Archives and Library holds a rich written collection dating from the late 9th century onwards. The archive of the medieval cathedral is inscribed on the UK Memory of the World Register. There are particular opportunities for students with skills in medieval and early modern palaeography and diplomatic.

See their website for an overview of Canterbury Cathedral.

Please send enquiries to Cressida Williams (Cressida.Williams@canterbury-cathedral.org).
