Project Title: Stirring Still': The Writing of Life, Time and Politics in Samuel Beckett and JM Coetzee

Supervised by Dr Derval Tubridy (Goldsmiths, University of London), Prof Shane Weller (University of Kent)

My research interests include modernist literature and art, the relationship between modernism and philosophy in both literary studies and philosophy itself. 

I have written for numerous publications, including the journal Textual Practice, The Los Angeles Review of Books, the TLS, openDemocracy, The New Inquiry and 3:AM. I am a Senior Editor (covering Philosophy and Literary Theory) at Review 31. I have presented conference presentations at: London Conference for Critical Thought, at Royal Holloway (June, 2013), BAMS (British Association for Modernist Studies) New Work in Modernist Studies, Cardiff (December, 2014), 'In Our Time', University of Malta (Malta, 2015). 

I completed my BA in Literature and History at UEA, my MA in English: Issues in Modern Culture at UCL, and an MA by Research at the London Graduate School, Kingston University, focusing on Literary Aesthetics and Philosophies of Time.
