Project title: The aesthetic life of autonomy: aesthetic experience and autonomous personhood.
In my dissertation, I hope to revise two common, but misguided notions of (firstly) autonomy and (secondly) aesthetic experience. I hope to do so, moreover, in a way that one can see how they are related to each other.
Supervised by Dr. Jörg Schaub
I am a student and teacher of practical and aesthetic philosophy with a background in Kantian and post-Kantian philosophy. In the past I have studied such as human rights, modern architecture and the notion of avant-garde. I particularly enjoy film, the company of cats and vegetarian food.
Art, design, architecture, philosophy (particularly ethics and aesthetics), critical theory.
I run a blog at https://minimadialectica.wordpress.com where I review popular culture through a philosophical lense.
