We live in a writing environment. The places we inhabit, our urban and rural surroundings, and how we move through them, have a strong influence on who we are as people and as a society. This conference hopes to explore the links between texts, environments and identity.
It provides postgraduate researchers working on a diverse range of topics (from psychogeography and travel writing, to migration, translation, mythology, and the virtual envrionment, amongst other spheres) to present their work to their peers and other established academics. The keynote address will be by Dr. Vybarr Cregan-Reid (University of Kent).
