Project Title: Bridging the Gulf between the Writer and the Unknown Reader: Virginia Woolf and the Ethics of Autonomy
Supervised by Professor Sanja Bahun.
My research focuses on the problem of autonomy, both as an aesthetic construct and an ethical ideal, and its representation in the work of Virginia Woolf.
I am interested in literary theory and its ethical and political applications, the modernist novel, avant-garde artistic movements, and the critical theory tradition associated with the Frankfurt School.
