CDF language Call
CHASE Cohort Development Fund:
Call for language training proposals
The CHASE Training and Development Group is pleased to announce a call for proposals for language training initiatives. The aim of the call is to draw on strengths held across the consortium in language training to provide training opportunities for arts and humanities PhD researchers. The training will benefit researchers by enabling them to access additional, non-English language, resources and potentially disseminate their research to wider audiences.
Training will be funded through the CHASE Cohort Development Fund. This fund supports a range of training and development activities for arts and humanities PhD researchers. Details of current and previous activities funded from the Cohort Development Fund can be viewed here: http://www.chase.ac.uk/development
Successful proposals will identify innovative training opportunities that enable arts and humanities PhD researchers to develop competencies in reading, writing and speaking in non-Anglophone languages. This training could take the form of:
· A series of workshops or masterclasses
· An online training resource
· An intensive residential programme
This list is not exhaustive. The CHASE Training and Development Group welcomes innovation in the design of training opportunities.
Deadline for proposals: July 16th.
Outcomes announced: July 31st.
